We are continually seeking approval for continuing education credits, approved provider status, and equivalency status. These approvals are granted either verbally or in writing and their time frames may be permanent or on a renewal basis. Educational process

1. Students watch expert-led videos that are "bite-sized" and easily understandable. All courses have written descriptions, closed captions, and on-screen text, which engages the learner through auditory, written, and visual media. Students who have questions are able to re-watch videos, use chat or phone support, and review the student manual. Students are also engaged throughout the training with pre-test questions that ensure comprehension of the material.
2. Upon completion of the training, students take the multiple choice test, which they must pass with an 80% or better. The test is remedial, meaning that students are given a helpful explanation when they answer a question incorrectly. In addition, the final test is adaptive and identifies the areas where a student struggled the most. At the end of the test (pass or fail), students are able to re-watch the videos related to the questions they answered incorrectly.
3. When the student passes the written test, they can print out verification and a study guide for the hands-on test. Next, they meet with a certified skill-evaluator or instructor and perform the hands-on practice and test. Upon successful completion, the student is awarded a certification card.
