Dental Hygienists in South Carolina need a Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification at the Healthcare Provider level. 39–5. Registration of Licenses or Certificates(3) All dentists and dental hygienists must have completed an approved CPR course within three (3) years of licensure or renewal.
